The first activity is the analysis of the concept design provided by the customer who must interact with the functional and dimensional needs required as well as the ergonomics of the chair.
We proceed with the analysis of all the functional and structural needs of the item that the aesthetics will have to cover also following the regulatory criteria imposed by the product certification.
Considering in detail all the use and safety regulations that represent the mechanical constraints, the article began to be modeled following the dimensions and aesthetics previously defined.
In this phase of the work the article is defined and checked from the dimensional point of view.
Any need to change the input data is discussed by the working group.
Finally, the general ergonomics of the chair are analyzed.
The activity of surface modeling and attention to detail is the central part of the project which aims to achieve the client’s aesthetic intent.
In order to guarantee the highest quality of the surfaces used by the advanced analysis and surface refinement tools.
Design of all components in the different seat versions: wood; plastic; upholstered.
Study of the component coupling system.
General analysis of drafts and accumulations of material in the monocoque.
Generation of thickness optimization strategy referring to the optimal molding cycle.
The entire article is prototyped to study in detail its functionality, aesthetic details, any assembly difficulties and / or use.
The article is definitively validated.
The article is definitively industrialized. All details are optimized for the production of the article; most of the components will be made with injection molding, others will be supplied externally.
The components, made of different plastic materials, must match perfectly to ensure comfort and a professional appearance.
The product is multipurpose for domestic and community use.
